So the HVAC system strikes again. A couple weeks ago the override switch, which is what the security folks hit when the temp hits 90, failed. The off-hours security kept dutifully hitting the override, and logged the temp as it increased to 90 .. 93 ... 95+.

The xenia, which was like a weed, is pretty much gone. The torch tip, which was unhappy for the last week (probably due to nighttime temps, the override likely failed awhile ago) has lost 2 branches and I can't find my shrimp ;(

Leaving on vacation soon,

Reef tank is mostly OK, starfish seem to have developed a taste for star polyps. They are about wiped out.

Mushrooms continue to flourish, as to feather dusters.

One new aiptasia (that I can see) right under the torch-tip. I hope Jaqueues-nueue eats him while I'mgone

So a fellow at work has an established eclipse reef tank. He's relocating to LA and doesn't want to go thru the bother of relocating an established tank. Or he want to go thru the fun of establishing a new tank. Either way, he wants $200 for the tank, inhabitants and such. Sounds like a good deal. Current plan is to keep it at work, where I can watch in most of the day and avoid the occasional power outtages and cooler temps at home. If call goes well it may get moved home. Kyle would certainly like that.
